Dear citizens,

We would like to bring to your attention that the procedures for registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently or temporarily residing abroad by diplomatic missions and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan are established by the Resolution of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 12.09.2012, No. Q/07-12, “Rules for Registration of Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan Abroad”. According to these Rules, the consular registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently or temporarily residing abroad on legal grounds must be ensured by the diplomatic missions or consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently or temporarily residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland are registered in the consular district of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden. The consular registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently or temporarily residing abroad is carried out in order to protect their rights, legal interests and security.

 

The consular registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan is carried out free of charge.

 

Registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland

 

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who reside in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland on a permanent basis, in other words, who have a permanent residence permit issued by the relevant competent authorities of these countries or another document (ID card) confirming their permanent residence status in these countries, are registered at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden accredited to their area of ​​residence.

 

Children under the age of 16 of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan registered in the consular register are registered in the registration card of one of their parents.

 

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland must submit the following documents to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden for the purpose of registration in the consular register, together with their passport:

 

Filled-for-abroad-resident-AR-vetendasi-ucun-ucot-kartockasi-2.doc;
Color photo for passport – 1 piece;
A passport of a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan confirming the identity of the citizen;
A copy of a document confirming that the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan has a permanent residence permit in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland.


Attention! If a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan registered with the consular authorities has a child under the age of 16 who is permanently residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland, copies of the child's birth certificate and the parents' marriage certificate (if any) must be submitted to the Embassy.

 

For your information, when a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan permanently residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland is registered with the consular authorities by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden, a stamp is placed in his passport with the words "Registered at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden. Date:_____ Signature:_____", signed by the consular officer of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden and certified with a seal.

 

Registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan temporarily residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland

 

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have been seconded to work in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland for more than three months, or who have traveled to the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland for education or personal reasons (for a guest, treatment or other purpose) are registered at the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan accredited to the territory where they work, study, receive treatment or live.

 

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan temporarily residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland must submit the following documents to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Sweden for the purpose of registration with the consular authorities:

 

Filled-in-the-form-for-residing-abroad-AR-vetendasi-ucun-ucot-kartockasi-2.doc;
A photocopy of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan confirming the identity of the citizen;
A photocopy of the document confirming that the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan has a temporary residence permit in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland.


Attention! We would like to inform you that no entry is made in the passports of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan temporarily residing abroad regarding their consular registration. If a citizen wishes, a free-form written certificate is issued by the consulate stating that he or she is on temporary residence registration.

 

If a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan registered with the consular authorities has a child under the age of 16 temporarily residing in the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway or the Republic of Finland, photocopies of the child's birth certificate and the parents' marriage certificate (if any) must be submitted to the Embassy.
